Greetings from the director

The Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer (IDAC) conducts medical research aimed at realizing a “Smart aging”’ society, which means the intellectual maturity of individuals and society by wisely coping with changes from aging. In order to realize a smart aging society, we conduct cutting-edge research from various aspects, such as elucidating the mechanism of aging, overcoming intractable cancer and preventing dementia.
