Hi, I’m Longteng ZHANG, a research student from Shandong University’s Department of Pharmacy, currently studying at IDAC’s Department of Modomics Biology and Medicine.

Studying in IDAC is exciting! The strong academic atmosphere and advanced scientific research equipment provides a great environment for every scientific research enthusiast, which is one of the reasons that attracted me deeply to come to IDAC as well as being lucky enough to join Professor Wei’s laboratory. Professor Wei taught me personally and gave me a lot of guidance, which I really appreciate. I hope that through my efforts, I can make my own contribution to human health one day.

For my personal daily life, I learned to cook and make delicious food as well as doing my best to communicate with other people in Japanese. Once COVID-19 settles, I would really like to visit some of the famous tourist attractions in Sendai and make more friends. I believe that being part of IDAC will be a very important experience in my life, both personally and professionally.
