Sendai, also known as “the city of trees”, is a peaceful and wonderful place that embodies the atmosphere of the key interest that attracted me to Japan in the first place: Zen meditation. Sendai’s deep history and many temples gives me the opportunity to reflect in the tranquility and stillness of nature and history. When not reflecting in the “mu”, I enjoy climbing the mountains in the Tohoku area; and, as a lover of sports, I also enjoy watching Sendai teams play, especially the Rakuten Eagles.
I am truly grateful and very happy to be part of the Department of Human Brain Science here at IDAC. All the professors and students are extremely supportive and they all offer great advice on how to approach and improve my research. I have, and continue to learn so much from them. I am very grateful to be surrounded by world-class research talents who always have a great answer and direction for every question!
